How to progress your Push Ups

So lets talk push ups ladies! 💪🏼

I have never started with a client without her telling me she has no upper body strength

So here is a video on how to build it up in the comfort of your own home! Push ups are one of the best ways to naturally build your upper body strength and they are a perfect move as you can do them anywhere!

BONUS- When you work your way up to push up release and full push ups you will be working your core also!

Build up to full Push ups ⬇️

🔹 Push ups on the knees⠀

🔹 Tricep Push ups on the knees ⠀ ⠀

If you are a beginner to exercise and push ups these 2 are perfect! Repeat each one for 5-10 reps and 1-3 Rounds.⠀ ⠀

🔸Push up Release ⠀ ⠀

This exercise is perfect for those who find the push ups on the knees a little too easy and want abit more of a challenge! ⠀ For intermediate level aim for 10-15 reps for 2-4 Rounds.⠀ ⠀

🔷Full push ups⠀ 🔷Tricep Push ups⠀ ⠀

Congratulations you have made it!⠀ I always include push ups when I am performing upper body workouts. ⠀ ⠀ Advanced level aim for 15-20reps 5+sets 💪🏼⠀ ⠀ I have left the adjustments I make in the videos so you can see how to perfect your form and technique whilst performing a push up.⠀ ⠀

🔸Ensure the chest is between the hands.⠀

🔸 Chest,hope and knees stay aligned.⠀

🔸 Chin and hips up, Chest down.⠀

🔸 To make the full push ups easier spread your feet wider. ⠀

🔸Whilst performing tricep push ups ensure the elbows stay into the waist.⠀ ⠀

🔶If you have shoulder issues feel free to use extra support such as a chair, sofa or bed.⠀ ⠀
